Southern Rights & Wrongs is a storytelling collective based in Cape Town. They are collaborating with AfrikaBurn for their next storytelling event taking place at the AfrikaBurn HQ on Tuesday 20th April.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to AfrikaBurn (so please come along)!
The event will see 10 brave storytellers tell a 5 minute story to the chosen theme. The stories have to be true and have to have happened to the storyteller.
We will stream Marian’s talk in Center Camp. Afterward the community is invited to stay and discuss what we learned. Center Camp has an art gallery, please walk around and check out the art as well as get a cup of coffee or tea at the cafe.
For the past two years we’ve collaborated with the Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) on the Fly Ranch design challenge, LAGI 2020. In March we concluded the voting process. The selected projects offer examples of how to live in sync with nature focusing on food, power, water, shelter, and waste. In this call, we’ll talk to LAGI jurors, projects that got the most votes from jurors, and BRC sustainability team members about their reflections and advice.
Join us on April 19th from 12-1:30 PM PST
