BURN2 is a Virtual Regional in Second Life and it’s easy to access with a computer and decent internet access. We have been around since 2009 and we have 12 sims of Playa with space to build and stages to perform on. There is an art grant, small art grant, Plottery for free camp space, and Plot sales similar to a ticket to help offset the cost of renting the sims.

Timekeepers presents an immersive, cosmic, and a universal meditation on time with a musical set from DJ Celeste who will be curating deep/tech house and select EDM cuts. Come join us for this one and only memorable experience in alternate reality.
About the work: Timekeepers is a virtual art installation space developed using traditional timekeeping symbols, which resonate with the phenomenon of temporality. On top resides a mammoth digital sculpture inspired by Janus – a two-faced God considered a guardian of time, transitions and doorways. On the bottom exists an underground bunker with multiple 360 degree, immersive viewing rooms running organic timescapes. Together, this world references the duality of past and future, where this present moment seems to be suspended like a moment of contemplation.
