The Existentialists Anonymous Art Bar – November 7th, 6:00 pm (PT)

Join us November 7th from 6:00 pm (PT) to 8:00 pm (PT) for the most creative bar ever created online will be open for a special event in the spirit of Caveat Magister’s new book “Turn Your Life into Art,” published by Burning Man Books, which details how YOU can create magical experiences.

It’s simple: we all gather in a Zoom call with a bartender, Caveat Magister, and several artists.

To order a drink, you offer up a prompt for a drink: a wish, a desire, an idea, an abstract concept, a place, a mythological character … anything that’s stuck in your head and beating with your heart. Once you’ve ordered, you use your video camera to show our bartender your kitchen and liquor shelf, and she instructs you on what to use and how to do it to make a drink that matches your prompt. We use whatever you have on hand — and mocktails are just as good as alcoholic drinks.

Meanwhile, Caveat will write a short story based on your prompt. The artists will create original pieces such as paintings and ink drawings based on your prompts as well, all in the time it takes for you to make your drink.

When the drink is ready, the story will be read, the art shared, you’ll taste the drink, and magic happens.
Then the next person goes, and you get to watch it all.
