Bring your favorite mug and join us for live, interactive video Community Coffee Talks. NCCP Community Director, Andrea Orlando, will host this stimulating online discussion with creative innovators who are shifting their focus during the pandemic to help their communities recover, heal, and become more resilient
What does back to school look like when it’s an art form that requires space to move the body? In this Community Coffee Talk we’ll chat with creative movement teachers to find out how they’re thinking about dance education at the beginning of a strange academic year.
We’ll be chatting with Paul Besaw who was born and raised in rural New Hampshire. He’s a dance and theatre artist with a primary interest in developing original performance works that integrate collaboration across art forms. He currently serves as Professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance at The University of Vermont, where he teaches courses in choreography, dance history, directing, performance, among others.
Armanii Saahd-Tann is Artistic Director at Rahway Dance Theatre in Rahway, New Jersey. She’ll join in if she’s not teaching that day.
In this live, interactive show we’ll take questions and comments from participants. Join in!
