Breathwork for Inner Space Exploration
BREATHWORK for INNER SPACE EXPLORATION is a pranayama breathwork meditation with a little bit of journeying thrown into the mix.
My intention for this practice is, as always, to manifest the ultimate safe space for yourself, clearing out stuck energy and strengthening our emotional core. We’ll be doing that with a tool that I’d been working with for some time now called “The Inner Shrine”. I can’t wait to show you how it works.
We’ll warm up with some Qigong. Then the breathwork, informed by pranayama yoga, is a 30-minute active 3-part breath (two in, one out), followed by 15 minutes of pure relaxation, all set to an epic soundtrack. Afterwards, we’ll take a 5 minute break, do some journaling, and debrief about all the things.
Its been a long time dream to bring this healing to Burning Man, and it’s finally happening! Especially with the state of the world right now, it is more important than ever to bring healing to our inner selves and to our unacknowledged traumas, so that we may stand in our vulnerability and strength for our everyday lives.
About me: My name is Mandel, I’m completely new to Burning Man, and I’ve been practicing breathwork for 5 years when it became an essential part of my life when the Ghost Ship Warehouse Fire in Oakland, California dredged up years of unacknowledged fire trauma all at once. Within one meditation, I learned to redefine my relationship with my fire demons, I’m excited to bring this practice to you wherever you are on this green Earth.
